Emerging Artist Program

The Federal City Alumnae Chapter’s Emerging Artist Program was developed to assist local artists and performers garner recognition throughout the metro Washington, DC community. Through networking, sponsorship, and formal talent presentation, our program further supports one of the tenets of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., which is "to support and advance artists, especially African American women, in their efforts to compose, write, direct, choreograph or conceptualize new contributions in their respective fields." This gives local artists an opportunity to showcase their talents to the public-at-large as well as to representatives of various arts organizations.
