Greetings Friends & Sorors, Welcome to the official website of the dynamic and distinguished ladies of The Federal City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc. (TheFCAC). I serve as the 19th President of this Dynamic Chapter. The Federal City Alumnae Chapter (Thee FCAC) was chartered on December 6, 1969, by 26 visionary women and has since grown into a dynamic sisterhood of more than 900 members. For over 55 years, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to enriching the lives of Washington, D.C. residents. We are proud to be the home chapter of our National First Vice President, Soror Rosie Allen-Herring. Since our chartering, TheFCAC has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to D.C. students and have infused thousands of community service hours into the DC Community. Our impactful programming is focused on our Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness & Involvement, Physical & Mental Health and Political Awareness & Involvement. If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc and you need a chapter home, we welcome you to visit us at a monthly chapter meeting or any of our events. I promise we have something for every soror as we are a “large chapter with a small chapter feel”. If you are a member of the community, we look forward to seeing you at our various events throughout the city. We are prepared to meet the demands of a changing Washington DC and changing times. Our chapter works with numerous community partners and welcome new opportunities to work with other like-minded organizations in the community to bring quality programs and services to grow our reach in the areas we serve as well as raise funds for our scholarship program. Thank you for visiting our website. We invite you to stay in touch with us, check us out on Instagram, follow us on Facebook, and continue to visit our website! There is always something exciting going on at The FCAC! |
