On August 1, 2026 The Federal City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host its 19th Annual Community Day. This signature event is a resource fair which capitalizes on our need to support and educate the communities we serve. Primarily serving Wards 5, 7, and 8 of Washington D.C., this event distributes free health and wellness services, lunches, groceries, toiletries, backpacks and school supplies to over 550 community attendees. In past years, we’ve utilized almost 200 volunteers and partnered with over 50 vendors/exhibitors and 17 sponsors to spread awareness and empower DC residents. The event also features entertainment from local talent and activations which expose residents to the arts, making Community Day an insightful and enjoyable event for entire families.
