The FCAC Chaplain's June Inspirational Message
I encourage each of us to put those Divine Ideas to good use!
This morning, as I was clearing out and cleaning up my home office, I uncovered several pieces of paper with words, phrases, and thoughts written on them that, in the moment they were written, I didn't want to forget, lose sight of, or let them get away from me. Those ideas are God-Ideas and are meant to be noticed, rescued -- even in the busyness of our days, and to be revisited at the exact right and perfect time. In the moment, those ideas may have seemed silly or random... But God. As a writer, more specifically as a poet, I have learned over time that all ideas are Divine Ideas... gifts from the father... Rediscover those bits of paper or journal entries that may have been written long ago or just yesterday... pick up the pieces and honor the gift and the treasure in the Creator's generosity of those Divine Ideas. Remember... those ideas belong to God, and we are simply the conduits.
Amen. And so, it is.
